Welcome to the Plymouth Parks & Recreation Adult Co-Ed Slow Pitch Softball League!
Games will be held on Monday evenings starting at 7:00 PM, from September 19th until November 7, 2022 at Ososki Field (softball field behind Main Street School, 77 Main Street, Terryville, CT).  This is a lighted field, for play to continue after dark.
Participants must have a P&R account on this site to receive program updates and correspondence.

  • All players must be at least 21 years of age to participate.

  • Players do not need to be a resident of the Town of Plymouth.

  • REQUIRED FROM EACH PLAYER:  Participant Disclaimer Form

  • Teams must have a minimum of 10 registered players.

  • Minimum of three teams required to run the program (one team would play a double header each week); maximum of six teams (three games each Monday night).

  • If a registered player would like someone not registered to substitute for them at a game, this is permitted as long as the opposing team coach/manager is notified for whom they are a substitute.

  • The umpire will determine home and away teams.

  • There must be at least 2 females per team playing in each game.

  • Team rosters are to be emailed to ParksandRec@plymouthct.us when the team registration is processed, yet no later than September 18th.  SEE LINK BELOW FOR ROSTER FORM TO BE FULLY COMPLETED.

  • Game softballs will be provided by Plymouth Parks & Recreation and must be the only softballs used.

  • Players should provide their own gloves and bats.

  • Only USA/ASA Softball approved wooden softball bats may be used.

  • Games will last seven innings (six and one half if the home team is ahead) or 50 minutes, whichever occurs first.  No new inning may begin after the 50-minute mark has been reached.

  • Each team must designate a scorekeeper.

  • If a team fails to appear at the scheduled start time, the team ready to play may choose to give the opponent up to ten (10) minutes to obtain the necessary number of players.  If neither team appears at game time, a ten minute grace period will automatically be given.  The game time is reduced by whatever portion of the ten minutes was used to avoid a forfeit.

  • In the case of rain, or other occurrences, a game will become official after the completion of four innings.  If less than a legal game has been completed, the game shall be suspended at this point.  The decision to continue or stop the game will be made by the umpire.

  • If inclement weather necessitates the cancellation of an entire game, this will be posted on the P&R Facebook page and players will be emailed.  Canceled or incomplete games may be rescheduled on a Sunday or an additional Monday evening, at the discretion of Plymouth Parks & Recreation.

  • Tobacco products are not permitted at Ososki Field and the surrounding park area.

  • Players are expected to use appropriate language and in no way disrupt the surrounding residents.

  • All rules are subject to change.
